Who is Javier Starks?
Javier Starks is an emcee, songwriter, performer, educator, and youth advocate. Starks provides audiences with a positive alternative by choosing to perform curse-free Hip Hop with verses that don’t degrade women, promote drugs, excessive violence, or over-glorify money. He teaches kids and adults that self-respect and respecting others is important – and possible – when expressing oneself through the arts.
Starks grew up in Baltimore, experiencing challenging times from a very young age. As a military kid, he moved around and would later find himself battling peer pressure, family instability, drug addiction, and the treacherous life of the streets. Feeling immense gratitude for having overcome his hardships, Javier made a choice to use his talent and life story as a force to spread positive messaging through his music, educational programs, and overall persona.

In today’s highly divisive climate, full of hate and anger, Javier’s music reminds us of what is important in life; his inspirational, uplifting lyrics and messages give us hope for a better future, something we all need to hear and believe in these days.

Javier has performed, recorded, and collaborated with numerous award-winning artists, including Logic, Robert Glasper, Kaytranada, Keyon Harrold, Miles Mosley, Chris Dave, Derrick Hodge, and the West Coast Get Down.
Electric Vehicles/Sustainability:
In addition to his music career, Starks is the undisputed #1 Onewheel rider in the world for distance on the Onewheel XR. Still, Javier uses his platform in the electric vehicle community to provide helpful resources and uplift the youth.
His incredible work ethic has taken him all over the world. Here, Javier Starks was flown out to California to film an epic adventure riding electric vehicles with the Future Motion team.
